ZZ Top BIO
ZZ Top brings decades of Texas blues-rock to the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California, on, with Cheap Trick also on the bill. Formed in Houston in 1969, the band is known for its gritty guitar sound, distinctive beards, and long-running influence on American rock. ZZ Top has sold more than 50 million albums and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004.
The band's catalog spans landmark records including Tres Hombres, Fandango!, and Eliminator. Crowd favorites such as “La Grange,” “Tush,” “Sharp Dressed Man,” “Legs,” and “Gimme All Your Lovin'” reflect the group's blend of blues, boogie, and polished rock hooks. Following founding bassist Dusty Hill's death in 2021, Billy Gibbons and Frank Beard have continued touring with bassist Elwood Francis.
The 2026 Dos Amigos Tour celebrates the enduring partnership between Gibbons and Beard. This Los Angeles date pairs ZZ Top with fellow rock veterans Cheap Trick for an evening built around familiar songs and guitar-driven performances. The event is listed on hollywoodbowltickets.net under Los Angeles Concerts and the Pop / rock category.
Venue and Seating Information
The Hollywood Bowl is an outdoor amphitheater, and the open-air setting gives concerts a distinctly different feel from an indoor arena. Seat views and the overall experience can vary by location, so review the seating map and event details when choosing tickets. For a performance centered on well-known songs and live guitar, consider how close you want to be to the stage versus having a broader view of the venue.
As with many large amphitheaters, seats nearer the stage offer a closer perspective, while farther sections provide a wider look at the performance. The Bowl's size also means checking the specific section and seat information before purchase is useful; no single section is guaranteed to suit every fan.
Parking Information
Parking arrangements and availability can vary by event. Fans attending the Hollywood Bowl commonly plan their arrival in advance and compare available options, including:
- On-site or venue-operated parking, subject to event availability and posted conditions.
- Nearby public transportation or event-day shuttle options, where available.
- Rideshare drop-off and pick-up, with meeting points subject to event operations.
Allow extra time for arrival and departure, as traffic around a major concert venue can be busy. Confirm current parking access, pricing, and transportation details with the venue before setting out; specific rates and availability are not provided here.
